La actividad de la construcción en España volvió a crecer en el segundo trimestre de 2021. Según reporta el Informe de diagnóstico de la Construcción, conjuntamente con Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), se trata de los mejores datos de producción en el sector residencial privado.

El informe refleja el primer aumento en la actividad desde antes de la pandemia. Este señala un incremento del Índice de Actividad de la Construcción en España, situado en +17 en el segundo trimestre en relación al -11 marcado en el primer trimestre del año.

Las previsiones que manejan el RICS y el CGATE sugieren que el sector desempeñará un papel cada vez más importante en la mayoría de los países europeos. Ello a medida que los programas gubernamentales para reconstruir la economía comienzan a implementarse de manera eficaz.

Construction activity in Spain returned to growth in the second quarter of 2021. As reported by the Construction Diagnostics Report, in conjunction with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), this is the best ever data for output in the private residential sector.

The report reflects the first increase in activity since before the pandemic. It shows an increase in the Spanish Construction Activity Index to +17 in the second quarter from -11 in the first quarter of the year.

Forecasts from the RICS and CGATE suggest that the sector will play an increasingly important role in most European countries. This is as government programmes to rebuild the economy begin to be implemented effectively.
